Blinken says: Israel has met its objectives in Gaza; now is the time to end the war

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized that the United States seeks a genuine, extended truce in Gaza to allow aid to reach those in need.

Speaking to reporters, Blinken stated that the best way to help people is by ending the war.

During his visit to Brussels, he said, "Israel has met, by its own standards, the objectives it set for itself. This should be the appropriate time to end the war."
