Egypt proposes new plan to revive Gaza ceasefire agreement

Security sources told Reuters on Monday that Egypt submitted a new proposal last week aimed at reviving the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

The proposal stipulates that Hamas would release five Israeli hostages per week, while Israel would begin implementing the second phase of the ceasefire agreement after the first week.
