Lebanon just formed a National Council for Price Policy
President Michel Aoun signed on Friday a decree to form the "National Council for Price Policy."
 
This council has been formed for the first time since the decision of its establishment in 1974. 
 
It is a national council compromised of all concerned parties from official departments and associations of the General Labor Union representing the various segments of the Lebanese society, working together to set a price policy after this responsibility was entrusted exclusively to the Ministry of Economy through the Consumer Protection Department.
