Hamas calls on Hezbollah to withdraw its fighters from Syria

Hamas movement called on Hezbollah to withdraw its fighters from Syria and to only stand against Israel, noting that "the party's involvement in the Syrian conflict has caused further sectarian polarity in the region".

In this regard, Hamas stressed the need to meet the aspirations of the Syrian people in terms of freedom and dignity.

Hamas movement also made it clear that the Palestinian cause is of great importance for the Arab and Islamist nations, adding that "its first mission is to fight the Israeli occupation".
