Hezbollah: 1701 report contradictory and flawed

Speaking on the UN Secretary General’s 17th report on UNSC resolution 1701, Hezbollah said that the report is filled with contradictions and clearly shows discontent over the path chosen by the Lebanese to fortify their ranks and stand in the face of the Israeli occupying power.

In a statement on Thursday, Hezbollah regarded the report as contradictory to the simplest facts on the ground relating to the stability in South Lebanon.

The statement added that the UN institutions are dominated by Western powers, chiefly amongst which is the United States; this imbalance endangers international safety and security and pushes these powers to violate the rights of people who refuse to bow down to their will.
