Tyre workers remove twin blasts rubble

Workers in the municipality of Tyre removed the rubble left by the twin blasts that ripped through the coastal city on Wednesday.

The first explosion targeted Queen Elissa Hotel which includes a nightclub frequented by U.N. peacekeepers while the second occurred in a liquor store owned by Youssef Ktoura near the entrance of the city.

The municipality entrusted the technical, engineering and planning groups with the task of inspecting the damages and enlisting them in the municipality’s records to preserve the rights of those whose properties were damaged.
