Grand Mufti underscores need to thwart attempts at sedition

Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani stressed on Monday that the Lebanese parties should thwart attempts to foment sedition as a moral and religious duty for the Muslim and Christian communities, calling on the leaderships to assume their responsibilities.

In this regard, Mufti Qabbani sent out a message on the occasion of the start of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan whereby he said that the incidents taking place across the Lebanese territories should prompt all the parties to work hand in hand for the entire country's interest.
