Future bloc: EU's decision on Hezbollah will affect all Lebanese people

The Future bloc held on Tuesday its weekly meeting whereby it tackled Lebanon's latest developments.

Following the meeting, MP Ziad el Kadiri read a statement on behalf of the bloc, in which he said that dialogue remains the most suitable way to commence communication amongst the various Lebanese factions.

He also noted that consultations are being held with the Future bloc's allies in order to determine whether or not to return to the dialogue table, calling for the formation of a new government that tackles the Lebanese people's need the soonest possible.

On a separate note the Future bloc voiced its regret over the European Union's listing of Hezbollah on its terrorist organizations list, adding that such a step will affect the interests of all Lebanese people.

On Syria, the bloc reiterated the call to withdraw Hezbollah fighters from the battles taking place in the neighboring country, and handing over suspects in the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri.
