Judicial committee investigates security violations in Roumieh prison

The Judicial Committee that was designated by the Head of the Audit Court, Judge Aouni Ramadan commenced on Wednesday its investigations regarding security violations in various blocs of the Roumieh prison.

In this context, the committee held a meeting with Brigadier General Pierre Hayek who is tasked by the Internal Security Forces’ Directorate and the chief of the Roumieh prison, Colonel Ghassan Maalouf and discussed with them the work mechanism inside the penitentiary.

Following the meeting, the committee along with the aforementioned officials visited blocs B and D at the Roumieh prison to inspect and follow up on technical works carried out inside the blocs.
