Maxime Chaaya sets new speed record for Lebanon

Maxime Chaaya reached on Tuesday with two other teammates the Mauritius Islands at the east coast of Africa.

The journey lasted one month, 27 days and 20 hours of rowing in the Indian Ocean after departing on June 9 from Perth, Australia.

With this accomplishment, Maxime Chaaya would be the first to set a new speed record for rowing the Indian Ocean and becoming the first team of three to row any ocean.
