Future bloc asks for clarifications on the CIA issue

Future bloc voiced surprise as to the cabinet’s procrastination to make a final decision regarding funding the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, since this issue is regarded as a top priority and a basic right for the Lebanese. The bloc wondered about the true reasons that prevented the security forces from entering the southern village of Siddiqin where Tuesday night’s blast occurred.

During its weekly meeting, the bloc was surprised as to the information spread by some US media outlets that spies working for the CIA are operating in Lebanon. The bloc added that some officials, especially the Lebanese cabinet, are called to act swiftly to clarify the situation to the public opinion and Lebanese people.

The bloc also disapproved of the violations made by Speaker Nabih Berri to the Parliament’s Statute during the last Q and A session.
