Army Command says 5 suspects arrested in Kleiat dispute

The Army Command - Orientation Directorate issued a statement on Thursday whereby it announced that two persons were killed and others were injured in a dispute that erupted late on Wednesday in the Akkar town of Kleiat, and which evolved into an armed clash.

Accordingly, the Lebanese Armed Forces cordoned off the area, undertook raid operations and arrested five suspects.

The Army Command added that the situation returned to normal as the Lebanese army pursues other suspects.
