Abboud to LBCI:This government filled us with dismay more than Hariri’s government did

The minister of Tourism Fadi Abboud said that there was no difference in Mikati’s stances in the Cabinet meeting and on Kalam Ennas TV Show regarding the Special Tribunal for Lebanon and his resignation if the government fails to vote on this issue.

Abboud called on the government to find a proper legislative outcome to fund the STL.

In an interview to Nharkom Said TV Show on LBCI Abboud revealed that more important than funding the government is renewing its mandate saying “This government filled us with dismay more than Hariri’s government did”.

Abboud denied all statements on a possible resignation from the government if the cabinet approved paying Lebanon’s shares from the STL, but asserted that all options are open and that the Free Patriotic Movement will not renounce his obligations towards the citizens.
