New audio message by Sheikh al-Assir surfaces

An audio recording belonging to the Imam of Bilal bin Rabah mosque Sheikh Ahmad al-Assir surfaced Monday in which he tackled Thursday's blast that took place in the Roueis region.

Sheikh al-Assir said that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah spoke "in a provocative way to justify his crimes in Lebanon and Syria."

He called on Nasrallah to halt his "lies", accusing him of "fighting the Sunnite sect under the pretext of Takfirists"

Sheikh al-Assir stressed that the explosion that took place in the Roueis region came as a direct response to Hezbollah's military action in Syria.

"Those who once criticized Nasrallah, seem to be holding their tongues due to cowardice and fear," al-Assir said.

Sheikh al-Assir dubbed Sayyed Nasrallah a "fool" for supporting President Bachar al-Assad against the Syrian people.

He also called on the Sunnite sect to not be deceived with Nasrallah's statements, accusing him of making way for a Sunni "holocaust".
