Aoun: We need ballot boxes, not bullet boxes

Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun urged the Syrian people to call for dialogue, not violence.

“Whether it is in Lebanon or in Syria, we do not need bullet boxes, we need ballot boxes”.

Following his meeting with a women’s delegation in Rabiyeh, Aoun said that reform in Syria is not the only requirement, wondering: “How can I believe that the international community wants Human Rights when it is supporting violence in Syria? Are there people more deprived of their rights than the Palestinians?”
