Kabbara: My office was shot out of envy, one suspect detained

Future bloc MP Mohammad Kabbara told Voice of Lebanon radio station that the individuals who shot his office did it out of envy for the success of Tripoli’s festival held by the Future Movement on Sunday.

Kabbara added that his office in Tripoli was shot four times Sunday morning before the festival. “The matter was avoided earlier to steer clear from any trouble that will negatively influence the festival”, Kabbara said.

Kabbara stressed that one person is held in custody and being questioned, adding that he is awaiting the investigation’s outcome.
