Former Lebanese ambassador found dead inside his villa

Former ambassador Michel Bou Khater, 66, was found on Tuesday dead inside his villa in the Taanayel region.

Preliminary investigations showed that Bou Khater, who lives alone, was killed with a sharp object Saturday, noting that his villa was robbed and his car was stolen.

Security forces immediately rushed to the scene and launched investigations to reveal the circumstances of the crime while the Bekaa General Prosecutor Farid Kallas is following up on the case with the Criminal Investigations Unit.
