Abadi in Baabda carrying a message from Ahmadinejad
Iranian ambassador, Ghadanfar Roken Abadi, on Wednesday reiterated to Lebanese President, Michel Sleiman, Iran's unswerving support for Lebanese domestic unity, stability, and security, as well as for Syria in fighting the US-Israeli scheme designed to target the Resistance front.

Abadi attended Baada presidential palace to convey to the President a message from his Iranian counterpart, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, on most recent developments in Lebanon and the broader Arab region.

The meeting reportedly broached bilateral cooperation on various levels. Earlier today, Sleiman met with Deputy Prime Minister Samir Moqbel over the current general situation.

He also discussed the fresh decisions by the Arab League on imposing economic sanctions on Syria with Minister of Economy and Trade, Nicolas Nahas. A delegation of the Islamic Action Front also visited the President today.

Talks featured high on the current political situation on the domestic arena as well as on an array of dossiers.
