Kaouk: The US will lose in Syria and Iraq

Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of Hezbollah Sheikh Nabil Kaouk said on Wednesday that the region will have to cope with new equations very soon. Sheikh Kaouk stressed that the winds of change sweeping the Middle East will in no way serve the interests of the U.S. and their allies, destabilizing them and pushing them to drop their masks.

 “The truth about their activities will be brought to daylight and everyone will know that they are the ones pouring oil on the fire, prompting the Arab League to impose sanctions against Syria”, Kaouk said.  

Sheikh Kaouk added that the U.S. allies in the region want to use the time before U.S. troop withdrawal in Iraq to induce changes on the ground and issue international resolutions to compensate for the heavy losses incurred by the U.S.  

“They have already attempted to replicate the Libyan experience in Syria and failed. In the next few days, the U.S. will lose in Syria and in Iraq which will boost Syria’s immune system and reinforce the July 2006 camp in Lebanon”, Kaouk said.
