Connelly welcomes cabinet’s decision to fund STL

U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly welcomed Lebanon’s decision to fund the STL, adding that Lebanon’s commitments to the Hague-based tribunal are not limited to the question of funding.

A statement issued by the U.S. embassy in Lebanon said that by living up to its commitments, the cabinet is clearly keeping Lebanon’s best interest at heart.
