Parliament to convene on Monday

The parliament is set to convene on Monday despite the boycott imposed by several parliamentary blocs over its agenda.

Speaker Nabih Berri called on the parliament to convene on the 23rd of September at 10.30 a.m. without changes being made to the agenda of the session.

The session had been postponed for a fourth time on August 20th over lack of quorum.

Disputes erupted between several parliamentary blocs and Speaker Berri over the parliament's agenda which includes 45 articles.
