An arrested released from Beirut Palace of Justice by mistake

Al-Akhbar daily reported that the security forces released, two days ago, a person detained by mistake from the Palace of Justice in Beirut.

In details, security forces informed the arrested Yahya S., born in 1978, that he will be released at the behest of the concerned judicial authorities, under the condition that he pays a certain sum of money. The arrested was caught off guard by the news, especially that he is wanted for several charges and numerous cases are filed against him. The daily added that Yahya did not show his surprise and made sure to pay the fine as soon as possible, seizing the opportunity presented to him.

Al-Akhbar stressed that Yahya was released by mistake after he was arrested for charges of possessing and using counterfeit goods. According to the newspaper, after he was released, it appeared that he was arrested by the public prosecution for robbing restaurants and companies.
