Charbel: ISF and LAF to deploy soon in Tripoli

Caretaker Interior Minister Marwan Charbel stressed Thursday that the Internal Security Forces and the Lebanese Armed Forces will deploy across the city of Tripoli.

Following the meeting held at the residence of Tripoli's Mufti Sheikh Malek Chaar, Charbel said that the main clauses of the security plan were placed awaiting the approval of all the parties.

For his part, Sheikh Malek Chaar declared that the security and stability must prevail over the whole city, without any exceptions, noting that compensations will be distributed to all those affected by the clashes.
