Charbel launches second phase of Tripoli’s security plan

Caretaker Interior Minister Marwan Charbel called Saturday on all the parties to cooperate with the security apparatuses so that Tripoli’s security plan succeeds, urging the Lebanese factions to hold peaceful dialogue away from assassinations.

Speaking from Tripoli, Charbel stressed that the security plan will be implemented across all the regions in the city without any exception, warning against any attack targeting the security forces “who are a red line.”

In this context, the caretaker minister asked the media outlets to cooperate with the security forces in order to avoid any tension and escalation.

Charbel had arrived to Tripoli Serail, where he held a meeting with the governor of the North Nassif Qaloush and the leaders of the security apparatuses of the north.
