MP Kanaan says forming a technocrat cabinet in Lebanon is impossible

Change and Reform Bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan called on Saturday for the formation of a new cabinet aside from the Syrian crisis and the regional developments, pointing out that the “other party” is waiting for a foreign indicator to start solving the Lebanese conflicts.    

Kanaan added that the Lebanese political system is based on blocs, making it impossible to form a technocrat cabinet, stressing the importance of forming a cabinet without linking it to a regional agreement between Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Syria.      

Regarding meetings held between the Change and Reform Bloc and other parliamentary blocs, MP Kanaan said that a meeting will be held at the soonest possible with the National Struggle Front, pointing out that they have also asked for an appointment with the Lebanese Forces.
