Iranian embassy: reports claiming the ambassador was targeted are completely false

The Iranian embassy in Beirut denied reports that its ambassador had been targeted in an Israeli strike.

In a statement, the embassy called the claims “completely false” and said they were being spread on certain platforms to create confusion and exaggerate the impact of the attack.

“The news circulating about the targeting of the Iranian ambassador is nothing but baseless rumors aimed at causing panic and inflating the results of the Israeli strike,” the statement said.
