The state-run National News Agency reported on Monday that two Syrian trucks came under fire in the northern city of Tripoli.
The agency added that a driver identified as Zakaria al-Basha was injured in the shooting that took place at dawn under the pedestrian bridge in Tripoli's Bab al-Tebbaneh neighborhood.
The drivers reportedly continued driving until they reached al-Mina where the Red Cross transported the injured driver to a nearby hospital.
Syrian trucks have come under fire several times in the past months in Tripoli's Bab al-Tebbaneh neighborhood where residents support the uprising against the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
