Patriarch Rai expresses concern over escalating situation in Tripoli

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai said on Sunday that events taking place in Tripoli may not be ignored, and the rounds of violence prove that the security situation is continuously deteriorating despite the implemented security measures.

In this regard, Rai pointed out at the ongoing sniping operations in Tripoli, expressing his concern over the situation at the northern Lebanese city.
