Judge Sawan requests for 9 persons accused in case of booby-trapped car found in Maamoura

Military Investigative Judge Fadi Sawan requested Tuesday death sentence for nine accused of being involved in case of the booby-trapped car found in the Dahiyeh region of al-Maamoura two months ago.

In this context, the judge issued arrest warrants against the accused and search and investigation notices against four of them whose identities are not fully identified.

On the 14th of October, the state-run National News Agency reported that Lebanese Armed Forces dismantled a bomb found in a Grand Cherokee Jeep parked in Dahiyeh's region of al-Maamoura.
