Nasrallah: Saudi Arabia is not courageous enough to engage in a war

The Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Tuesday the nuclear deal between Iran and the West is temporary and has great repercussions, considering that the people of the region will benefit the most from the mentioned deal.                          

Nsarallah said in televised interview that Israel will not target the Iranian nuclear facilities without a “green light” from the United States, stating that there is a major change in the US positions regarding the Arab region and the world.                                    

“The US is not seeking war since its capabilities and potentials have changed,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.                        

Nasrallah added that the Iranian stance regarding Israel is decisive and did not change and mentioned that Iranians asked to limit talks to the nuclear file and postponed discussions pertaining to all other files.                

In the same context, Nasrallah stated that Iran has been trying for years to hold dialogue with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; however, all Iranian attempts failed since KSA halted all these efforts, adding that a Pakistani mediation in this regard was accepted by Iran, but Saudi officials rejected it.         

Nasrallah added that “Saudi Arabia is not courageous enough to go into war for this it is indirectly interfering in Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.”

On another note, Sayyed Nasrallah stated that Qatari officials have taken a positive initiative regarding the file of the Lebanese citizens who were detained in Syria’s Aazaz, revealing that he received in the past few days a Qatari official despite the political disagreement between the 2 sides.
