Snow finally covers the Lebanese mountains

Snow covered on Thursday al-Arbaeen Mountain overseeing the Akkar region of Donniyeh, for the first time this year.

Snow fall was also accompanied by a decrease in temperature, following a night of heavy rainfall throughout the town of Donniyeh.

The snow also covered the area of Kfardebian-Faraya, starting 2000m above sea level, and roads are still accessible for equipped cars.
