Saade to LBCI: Mikati the appropriate person for this phase

Former Minister Youssef Saade highlighted on Wednesday the importance of the current cabinet’s survival, adding that PM Najib Mikati is “the appropriate person for this delicate phase.”

Saade told Nharkom Said TV show that the alliance between al-Marada, the FPM, Amal Movement and Hezbollah is sturdy and clear.

He added that Change and Reform bloc Leader MP Michel Aoun has the right to make demands.

Saade confirmed that no one stands against the wage-related plan put forth by Labor Minister Charbel Nahhas , adding that this plan is still tabled and should be studied for it will change the workers’ situation.

Saade added that al-Marada Movement will vote in favor of Aoun’s candidates for administrative appointments, hoping that there will be a consensus on the names before their submission.

Saade said that the misunderstanding between Mikati and Aoun should be solved, adding that “El-Marada movement does not play a mediating role
