Siniora commenting on STL-funding, Mousawi's slander

The Head of the Future parliamentarian Bloc, Fouad Siniora told said that PM Mikati's decision to carry out the STL funding via a number of banks was tantamount to a correct step in the right direction.

Siniora regarded Mikati's decision another point added to his credit. With reference to Hizbullah deputy Nawwaf Mousawi's slandering of Sami Gemayel at a parliament hearing, he regarded Mousawi's misbehavior as a big slap in the face of the parliament as a whole. Mousawi has in fact insulted the Lebanese democratic system, he exclaimed.

Referring to official Syrian news media reporting Future bloc fabrication of an alleged group of Iranians being trained and sent to Syria as a gross lie and that the whole story was merely a figment of Syrian regime's imagination.

Siniora added that this latest Syrian lie reminded him of Walid Mouallem's film calling it a typical Syrian serial. He denied any Future bloc meddling in domestic Syrian affairs but reiterated moral support for the Syrian revolution.
