First officially elected Miss Lebanon dies

The first officially elected Miss Lebanon, Gladys Joseph Tabet, who was crowned in 1959 died on Saturday morning, the state-run National News Agency reported.

Tabet represented the Arab states in the 1959 Miss Universe contest and won the Miss Elegance title.
