Horrific road accident kills one on Batroun – Tripoli highway

One person was killed and another was injured on Thursday in a horrific car accident on the Batroun – Tripoli highway, near al-Mseilha fort.

In the details, a Mercedes truck, driven by Lebanese citizen Abdallah Ghrawi collided with a Mercedes vehicle with Kamel Loutfi Kerdi and Nafez Ahmad al-Merhi on board, killing Kerdi, whose body was transferred to a nearby hospital in Batroun.

This as the truck’s driver was arrested upon a notice from the concerned judiciary.
