Rai: We must protect Lebanon and avoid reactions

The Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai said that the Lebanese people are “in desperate need to experience the beauty of brotherhood in order to reach peace.”

Addressing the Lebanese Forces Syndicates Association, Rai stated: “It may be easy to destroy, but it is very hard to build, we must work together to build a cause and an idea. We must protect Lebanon and avoid actions and reactions, since we are in need for national brotherhood.”

“We are facing a war of weapons, while our sole weapons must be unity amid diversity,” he added.
