Geagea says latest assassinations should be all added to the STL

 
Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea said on Monday "those who believe in the state of laws and in the Cedar's revolution are being targeted," stressing the importance of adding all crimes that took place to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.           

Geagea, in a ceremony held by the Lebanese Forces under the title of "The Era of Justice", said it would not have been possible to achieve a sense of justice in Lebanon had it not been for the heroic steadfastness of the Lebanese in the face of the killing machine.

“Some of those who declared their approval to the establishment of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon during the first dialogue session in 2006, were the same ones who started fabricating obstacles in order to prevent it, by launching threats and doubts, fabricating the "False Witnesses" case and using it to topple the national unity cabinet without giving any chance to discuss the file,” he said.         

As for the cabinet formation, Geagea called on Lebanese President Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam to speed up the cabinet formation, considering that "national unity is a concept that the 'other party' will never adhere to".
