The state-run National News Agency reported on Thursday that security apparatuses are completing their investigations in Tuesday's Haret Hreik explosion under the supervision of the State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr.
The agency added that investigations are focusing on deriving a sketch for the suicide bomber and lifting fingerprints to match them with available data.
This as sources told al-Akhbar newspaper on Thursday that the security apparatuses were not able to recognize the identity of Tuesday's suicide bomber in the region of Haret Hreik.
Sources added that the initial sketch drawn by the security apparatuses for the suicide bomber did not match with the suspects' sketches.
This as no one recognized the photo attached to the driving license that was found at the site of the explosion and which was circulated by the concerned authorities.
At least four people were killed and at least 35 others were injured in the suicide bombing on Tuesday morning, the second such attack to target the same street in one month.
