Future Bloc: Facing terrorism requires a national decision

The Future Bloc said on Friday Lebanon's national will is suffering from many problems in combating terrorism, stressing that Hezbollah's intervention in the Syrian crisis is breaching both Lebanese and international laws.

In its weekly statement, the Future Bloc called on Iran to lift its influence off Lebanon and prevent Hezbollah from being further dragged into the Syrian crisis, pointing out that a realistic solution to the problem comes in the form of deploying Lebanese Armed Forces and members from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon along the Lebanese-Syrian borders.

The bloc added in its statement that facing terrorism requires a national decision, emphasizing the necessity of imposing the authority of the Lebanese state over all Lebanese regions.

On another note, the Future Bloc denounced the Syrian shelling targeting the Lebanese town of Arsal, calling on Lebanese nationals and authorities to intervene in order to end the attacks.
