Rai calls on politicians to end corruption, implement reforms and grant the cabinet confidence

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutroa Rai called Sunday on the politicians to end “the economic, social, security and administrative bloodshed, to implement necessary reforms, to grant confidence to the new cabinet and to kick off serious work in all the fields.”

In his holy sermon during Sunday’s holy mass, Rai urged the officials to restore the Lebanese people’s confidence and to hold the presidential elections according to the constitutional deadlines, stressing the need to build a capable, just and productive Lebanese state.
