Geagea says will deploy efforts to prevent March 8 candidates from reaching presidency

The head of the Lebanese Forces party Samir Geagea said Thursday that obstruction can be caused when the elections are hindered and when a president is elected out of settlement.

Geagea declared that he is completely against the suicide bombing phenomenon, stressing that should Abra security events have taken place without coinciding with Hezbollah’s intervention in Syria, suicide bombers would not have carried out attacks in Lebanon.

The LF leader said that he will deploy strong efforts to prevent March 8 candidates from reaching presidency, stressing that he supports March 14’s political project.

On another note, Geagea slammed blocking the roads in Arsal, calling on the authorities to take the necessary measures in the town. He also expressed concern regarding the negligence in dealing with the security events taking place in the northern city of Tripoli.
