Nicolas to LBCI: Aoun is the only one capable of communicating with all the parties

Member of the Change and Reform bloc MP Nabil Nicolas warned Friday against attacking the Lebanese Armed Forces, noting that the fall of the army leads to the fall of the Lebanese state.

In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Nicolas said that Lebanon’s geography does not allow it to receive a great number of refugees, pointing out that their remarks in this regard were considered as political exploitation.

He added that discussions pertaining to the Syrian crisis must be held during the cabinet session, not in the streets, explaining that the head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun had been calling for agreeing upon a defense strategy to avoid the situation the country is currently witnessing.

“Aoun is the only one capable of communicating with the political parties and give guarantees to all,” he added.
