Justice Minister Rifi says Tripoli’s security plan a favorable way out of conflict
Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi stressed on Sunday that “Tripoli is a city of peace and coexistence,” and said: “The northern city has gone through unnatural circumstances; therefore we should do our utmost to end the conflict”.

In an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, Rifi praised the security plan set by the Lebanese army as "a favorable way out of the conflict".

He also said there were no accurate reports on the departure of the leader of the Arab Democratic Party Ali Eid and his son, ADP’s Secretary General Refaat Eid, noting that “all factors that caused provocations must leave the city”.

Media reports said earlier that the aforementioned ADP officials left Lebanon towards Syria via illegal crossings.
