LAF checkpoint comes under fire in Arsal

A man driving a pick-up truck crossed a Lebanese army checkpoint in Arsal and opened fire towards LAF members who responded to sources of fire, leaving him injured.

Kamal Ezzeddine was then transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, the Lebanese army said in a statement on Sunday.

The LAF also seized Ezzeddine’s military weapon as well as military assets and ammunition.

Investigations were launched under the supervision of the concerned judiciary.
