Lebanese security forces arrest 20 persons in Tripoli
Lebanese security forces arrested on Sunday 20 persons in Tripoli, as part of the security plan being implemented in the northern city, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The suspects are accused of drug trafficking and wanted on shooting, murder and theft charges.
Early this month, the Lebanese army started implementing, in cooperation with the security apparatuses, a security plan in Lebanon's northern city.

This comes after the cabinet tasked the army and security forces with controlling the security situation in Tripoli and the eastern Bekaa Valley in areas bordering Syria.
