LAF unit arrests 5 fugitives in Beirut's Southern Suburbs

A Lebanese Armed Forces unit arrested on Thursday five wanted suspects in the Beirut Southern Suburbs, the Army Command said in a statement.

The arrested were identified as Mohammad Mazloum, his two sons Ali and Hassan, Mohammad Saiid Wehbe and Salem Ahmad Ismail.

The army found military equipment at the residence of Mazloum as well as ammunition and military material at the home of Wehbe.

The fugitives are also wanted on shooting charges, the Army Command said, adding that the detainees are undergoing interrogation under the supervision of the concerned judiciary.
