Harb gives Alfa, Touch hours to restore quality of mobile network’s service before terminating contracts
Telecommunications Minister Boutros Harb warned on Wednesday the Lebanese mobile operator firms, Alfa managed by Orascom Telecom and Touch managed by Zain, of terminating their contracts within hours.

This comes after an apparent rise in malfunction cases affecting the mobile network and which has led to a decline in the quality of the service.

In this regard, Harb urged both firms to “restore the needed quality of the mobile phone network within hours;” or otherwise face termination, and accountability.
