Future bloc MP Houry says Christian parties should reach consensus
Future bloc MP Ammar Houry said on Monday that the 'other party' [March 8 coalition] had only submitted blank votes in the parliamentary sessions aimed to elect a new Lebanese president, noting that this will by no means lead to the withdrawal of the March 14 candidate.

In a phone call with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, MP Houry stressed that negotiations were held between Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun and Future Movement head MP Saad Hariri.

"The ball is in the other party's court," he said.

Houry also noted that the Future bloc did not 'veto' Aoun or any other candidate, adding that the Christian parties within the March 8 and 14 coalitions should reach consensus.
