Rafic Hariri University Hospital employees suspend work at noon

Rafic Hariri University Hospital employees announced on Thursday that they will suspend work and close the main gate and the emergency entrance at noon after the state failed to meet their demands, they said.

They noted however that they will take care of the patients inside the hospital until their full recovery.

The employees have been staging sit-ins to protest "the administration’s failure to pay due salaries and the concerned authorities’ negligence toward the medical facility that is on the verge of collapse.”
