LF leader Geagea urges full implementation of UNSC resolution 1701

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said on Monday that his party fully supports the Lebanese Armed Forces in fighting gunmen and terrorists.

In this regard, Geagea urged the cabinet to ask the United Nations Security Council to reinforce the UNSC resolution 1701 fully, noting that the resolution allows the deployment of peacekeepers in a bid to help the state control all its territories and protect civilians.

Geagea also offered his condolences to the military institution, the families of LAF martyrs as well as the families of civilians who were killed in Arsal.
